Pre-Natal
6 weeks – Our comprehensive Prenatal Class provides expectant parents with valuable information for the early stages of parenthood. From pre-natal nutrition and exercise into the early stages of labour, and delivery to breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and newborn care. A car seat safety presentation is included in the final session.
Postpartum Information Sessions
2 weeks – A program designed to prepare new families, especially moms for their life postpartum. Discussions will cover important topics including coming home from the hospital, how to feed your baby, your mental health, physical recovery, relationships, and normal infant behaviour. The program includes practical information, interactive activities, stories from postpartum moms, and open discussion.
Baby's First Year
6 weeks – A practical class designed to build your confidence and help you navigate the exciting and challenging journey of parenthood. Receive expert guidance, invaluable practical advice, and the encouragement you need to thrive during your baby’s first year. Held in a safe, supportive space alongside other new parents where open discussions are encouraged to help address any questions or concerns you may have.
ProActive Parenting
6 weeks – Get ahead of your child’s needs with the ProActive parenting class available for parents of any age child. Learn about the emotional, mental and relational needs your child may have and how best to meet them through your day to day parenting. You will develop valuable knowledge and skills for parenting children at any age. Book included.
Mother Goose Literacy & Parenting Skills
Ongoing – A fun, interactive class for parents and their babies or young children to connect through rhymes, songs and stories! Presented in partnership with the Further Education Society.
LENA Start
10 weeks – An online early literacy program for children ages 0-3 yrs. LENA Start promotes the importance of speaking with infants to nurture healthy brain development. Participants will receive one book per week and must have a computer and strong internet connection. Registration is limited to 10 families.
New Beginnings Parenting Program
4 weeks – A parenting program for parents who require a certificate for court or Children’s Services. This program will cover topics including positive discipline, anger management, emotional wellness, conflict management and single parenting. Presented in partnership with FESA.
Just for Dads
Dad Zone
5 weeks – A class specially designed for new dads during their baby’s first year. Led by experienced dads this practical course provides a safe space for new dads to ask questions, raise concerns, and gain valuable knowledge and skills to have a successful transition into fatherhood. Learn how to bond with your child and support your partner in this 5-week program.
DadLab - Stuff Every Father Should Know:
Ongoing – A monthly drop-in program for dads by dads. This is a facilitated discussion between dads covering a variety of topics regarding parenting young children. A great opportunity for fellow dads to connect over parenthood and gain confidence and understanding.
Fathering Together in Canada
4-6 weeks – Designed for dads who are new to Canada, this discussion-based program is a safe space for dads to come together and talk about the challenges and triumphs of raising a family in Canada.
Just for Moms
MomLife
Ongoing – A monthly drop-in program for moms to connect and discuss a variety of parenting topics specifically for moms of young children. This program is a facilitated 90-minute discussion hosted online.
Mothering Together in Canada
6 weeks – A discussion-based program that provides a safe space for moms who are new to Canada to come together and discuss the challenges and joys of raising a family in Canada.

Financial Literacy
6 weeks – Learning how to better manage and save our money is a helpful skill at any point in life particularly for parents with dependent children. Developed by Momentum in this Financial Literacy Program you will learn tools such as budgeting, assets, and debt management, amongst others, that will help you to make the most of your financial resources.
