Donors may designate funds to a program or project approved by the Board of Directors of Mainsprings Pregnancy and Family Support Association. If the project or program objectives have been fully met or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the Board of Directors, the remaining restricted contributions will be reallocated for use where most needed.

Material Goods

We gratefully accept donations of new or gently used items.

  • Maternity wear and personal items
  • Baby clothing for (ages 0-2)
  • Hygiene products, shampoo, lotion for mom and baby
  • Baby necessities, such as soothers, receiving blankets, etc.
  • Quilts and blankets
  • New or gently used books and toys
  • New or unused stuffed animals
  • Journals for women and men

Due to liability and safety concerns, we cannot accept:

  • Furniture, large toys
  • Baby equipment (car seats, strollers)
Donations: We gratefully accept donations of new or gently used items.<br /> We are actively accepting in-kind donations of gently used items.

Skip the Depot

Donate your empty bottles and cans to Mainsprings by signing up for Skip the Depot!

Skip the Depot will pick up your bottles and cans saving you a trip to the depot. Once they process your returns you can choose to have the money transferred to your account or donated directly to Mainsprings!

To get started:

  2. Schedule a pickup location & time.
  3. Donate the payment directly to Mainsprings

Donate a Car

Donate a Car Canada is now accepting vehicle donations on our behalf. To participate simply donate your used car, truck or SUV and depending on its condition it will either be recycled or re-sold with all proceeds going to Mainsprings. As a result of your vehicle donation, you will receive a tax receipt once the donation has been processed.

To make it a simple process you can drop your vehicle off at one of their locations, or free towing can be arranged in most areas across Canada!
